Low budget air carrier Wizz Air will launch four new flights this fall thanks to the expansion of its fleet in Budapest: from October it will be directly accessible by plane to Genoa, Girona, Marrakech, and from December to Memmingen.

In addition, Wizz Air is increasing the frequency of its flights on several popular routes, including Tel Aviv, Istanbul, Milan, Berlin, Madrid, Athens and Glasgow.

According to their announcement, as a result of the expansion, the airline's capacity in Budapest in the winter season will increase by more than 30 percent compared to the same period of the previous year. As a result, Wizz Air's market share rises to 41 percent, strengthening the airline's market leading role in Hungary.

With the soon-to-be-expanded fleet of 17 aircraft in Budapest, they will be able to transport a total of almost seven million passengers to and from Budapest this year.
