In line with its strategic goals, AutoWallis continues to strengthen its position in the automotive retail sector after reaching an agreement to sell Lexus, Toyota's premium car brand. The region's leading integrated car dealer and mobility service provider opened its first Lexus showroom in Győr, bringing the number of brands represented by the company to thirty.

AutoWallis continues to increase its market share in the premium passenger car segment. The 360-square-meter Lexus car dealership and service center includes a showroom and a service center. The move is in line with AutoWallis' strategic goal of continuing to grow through organic expansion and acquisitions as well as business development.

Péter Antal, head of AutoWallis's Retail Division, said that the agreement is an important milestone in the history of the AutoWallis Group, as the company, which is present in 17 countries in the region, has increased the number of brands it represents to 30 through its cooperation with Lexus and further expanded its market presence in the premium car segment. Western Hungary has significant consumer potential, and demand for premium vehicles is also growing year on year – Győr was chosen based on these market trends and economic factors.

The region has always been a priority for the Hungarian stock exchange's automotive company: AutoWallis Iniciál has been selling vehicles and offering related services in four major cities (Győr, Mosonmagyaróvár, Sopron, and Szombathely) for decades, and this spring, it opened its first BYD sales point outside the capital, also in Győr. Péter Antal added that they would like to expand into other regions of the country and are therefore looking for further development opportunities.
