Citibank to Continue Expanding Activities in Hungary

Citibank will continue to expand its activities in Hungary, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade said in a social media post on Friday.

According to the Ministry, an agreement on this was reached at a meeting with the group's CEO that Citibank would continue to expand its activities in Hungary, creating jobs, with the support of the government.

Citibank has been present in Hungary for forty years, contributing to the growth of the domestic economy since then. With more than three thousand employees, it is one of the largest foreign investors in the banking sector.
