The Budapest Stock Exchange launched the tenth annual edition of the "BSE - Fifty Prosperous Hungarian Companies" publication at an event this Wednesday as Hungary’s business community once again came together to celebrate the most inspiring mid-sized companies.
At the anniversary event, Tibor Tóth, CEO of the Budapest Stock Exchange, proudly presented the latest edition, which showcases the stories and achievements of the 50 most successful Hungarian mid-cap companies of the past year.
Mihály Varga, the governor of the National Bank of Hungary, the bourse's majority owner, said the BSE had become one of the most important markets in the region, adding that the exchange was the "best indicator of economic trends."
More than 150 securities are available on the BSE.
