The goal of the investment is to provide state-of-the-art warehousing and logistics solutions that enable the company to meet the partners' growing needs with high-quality service.

BHS Trans Ltd., a Hungarian-owned company and strategic partner of HELL Energy, specializes in warehousing and logistics operations. The company has established a logistics center worth nearly EUR 35 million (or some HUF 14 billion) in Szikszó, NE Hungary. The project has created 28 new jobs, contributing to the increase of employment in the region, according to the Hungarian Investment Promotion Agency (HIPA).

As part of the project, nearly 20,000 sqm of dry goods warehouse, a refrigerated warehouse, and additional support units were built. With this capacity expansion, BHS Trans now offers modern and complex logistics services to its partners, strengthening its competitiveness in both domestic and international logistics markets.

Half of the invesment costs of the logistics center are covered by Hungarian taxpayers as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade says a state subsidy of HUF 7 billion has been provided.

In addition to the new building sections, the site has been expanded with a solar power system, further enhancing the company’s commitment to sustainable operations.

Among the company’s partners are leading players in the automotive industry, such as thyssenkrupp, while notable figures from the food industry, including Szentkirályi, Dreher, and Gyermelyi, also serve as key references.

BHS Trans operates a total of 12 locations, including Athens, Greece and the Romanian cities of Timișoara and Constanța, the latter located on the Black Sea coast.
