Ball Corporation, a global manufacturer of sustainable aluminum packaging, is expanding its workforce at its recently acquired plant in Makó, SE Hungary, the company’s communications partner informed MTI.

According to the announcement, the local company Ball Italcsomagoló Magyarország [Drink Packaging Hungary] Ltd. plans to hire more than forty new employees in the first phase, with additional professionals to follow throughout the year.

The recruitment drive also signals Ball’s long-term commitment to its Makó plant and its expectation of further growth in the sustainable packaging market.

At the plant, formerly owned by Benepack, Ball is placing special emphasis on building a workplace culture centered on accountability and excellence.

The Makó plant is seeking applicants for positions as production technicians, industrial electricians, and mechanical and electrical supervisors.
The announcement quoted Dejan Jovanovic, Ball Corporation’s regional manufacturing director, who emphasized that they offer long-term career opportunities to applicants, consider training important, and are particularly looking for technically-minded employees eager to learn.

Demand for recyclable aluminum cans is steadily growing as consumers and brands increasingly seek environmentally friendly packaging solutions.
