According to seasonally and working-day adjusted data, industrial production increased by 0.9% year-on-year and declined by 1.1% compared to the previous month, a first reading of data released by the Central Statistical Office (KSH) on Friday shows.

The Office points out that working-day adjusted index is equal to the non-adjusted one.

Production volume decreased in the majority of the manufacturing subsections compared to the same month of the previous year.

Out of the subsections having the largest weight the manufacture of transport equipment, as well as the manufacture of computer, electronic and optical products grew, at the same time a decline occurred in the manufacture of electrical equipment, as well as in the manufacture of food products, beverages and tobacco products.

In the first four months of the year, industrial production was 1.0% higher than in the same period of 2025.

Industrial output – according to seasonally and working-day adjusted indices – was 1.1% below the level of the previous month.
