Factory gate prices in Hungary climbed 1.0% year-on-year in July, data released by the Central Statistical Office (KSH) on Monday show.
Prices for domestic sale were up 2.5% while export prices edged up 0.3%.
Domestic prices of the manufacturing sector, which have a 67.6% weight in the PPI, rose 1.7%. Domestic energy prices, which account for 30.0% of PPI, increased 3.4%.
Export prices of the manufacturing sector, which have a 90.1% weight in the PPI, were 1.6% lower.
In a month-on-month comparison, factory gate prices were up 1.4% as prices for domestic sale were 1.1% higher and export prices climbed 1.6%.
For the period January-July, factory gate prices declined 0.7% as prices for domestic sale inched up 0.5% and export prices were down 1.2%.
