Hungarian pharmaceutical company Egis, owned by France's Servier, inaugurated a central distribution warehouse in Fót, on the outskirts of the capital, on Monday.
The warehouse, with capacity for 30,000 palettes of product, was inaugurated in the HelloParks industrial park.
CEO Csaba Poroszlai noted that Egis is market leader in Hungary in terms of number of boxes of medicine sold, this is why it is particularly important that production be supported by a modern, standardized, and reliable finished-product logistics infrastructure.
He emphasized that this development, in line with the company’s growing production volume, supports the servicing of both domestic and international markets spanning more than 100 countries.
The facility has an area of close to 20,000 square meters, including 1,000 square meters of office space. The warehouse will be staffed by around 60 people.
Egis had net sales revenue of close to HUF 312 billion in its business year ended September 30, 2025, public records show.
