In its weekly summary, Equilor Investment Ltd. reviewed the corporate reports released this week.
Mol’s third-quarter adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) came in at USD 1,760 million, in line with the consensus estimate of USD 1,754 million and up 81% from a year earlier. The adjusted EBITDA of USD 3.683 billion for the first nine months already represents approximately 123% of the annual guidance of USD 3.0 billion, meaning Mol is performing well above its 2026 targets, the analysis noted.
According to the analysis, Magyar Telekom reported a revenue surprise and results in line with expectations. The company’s third-quarter revenue rose 7.4% to HUF 261.0 billion compared to the same period last year. Three factors drove this growth: the reversal of inflation-linked rate adjustments, expanding handset sales driven by higher volumes and average prices, and a major equipment delivery project.
Zwack Unicum is maintaining its profit target. The company’s gross revenue decreased by 3.8% to HUF 18.27 billion, while net revenue – excluding excise tax, NETA, and the DRS redemption fee – fell by 6.4% to HUF 11.11 billion. The majority of the decline was attributable to revenue from services.
