One of the largest corn processing companies in Hungary, Hungrana Ltd., has won two awards at the SAP Quality Awards for the countries of the Central and Eastern European region, the company has announced.
In the competition for digitalization business development, where projects were submitted by 16 countries, Hungrana was awarded the Grand Winner and the Winner titles of the competition for the SAP module implementations carried out at the company.
A statement by the company says the owners and management of Hungrana Ltd. are committed to continuous development, and as a result, a significant digitalization was implemented last year. “If you can't avoid something, get ahead of it – as the old saying goes. This is what has been done by Hungrana.”
According to the Managing Director of Hungrana Ltd., Dr. Tamás J. Farkas, "we strive for world-class developments, and in this we managed to find a partner whose expertise and innovative solutions enabled us to implement the digitalization development that will ensure our operations are stable and make our workflows more transparent, predictable and cost-effective," says
Last year, the company signed a strategic agreement with SAP Hungary Ltd., and an SAP Lab specifically dedicated to development workshops was officially handed over at Hungrana in Szabadegyháza, southwest of Budapest.
"The basis of cooperation is that we see each other as partners and that both parties give their best to achieve common goals," the Managing Director said. He added that the awards won in December not only make the participants in the project proud, but also that they consider it of utmost importance that more and more Hungarian companies get to know and recognize the advantages and opportunities of SAP systems and developments.
