ESSCA, regarded as one of the best business schools in the world, has launched a series of celebrations to commemorate its 30th anniversary with an exclusive two-day event at the Kraft Gallery on Andrássy avenue in Budapest.
The higher education institution, which has been ranked in the Financial Times' list among the best management courses worldwide, hosted a prestigious international evening for ambassadors accredited to Hungary, and then organized a lifestyle day on its campus in cooperation with the International Women's Club (IWC). The series of events aligned with the values represented by the university: cultural diversity, a vibrant student life, sustainability and a healthy lifestyle.
Guests, including ambassadors from 40 countries, were welcomed by Péter Kraft, a former Hungarian ambassador to Peru and professor at ESSCA, together with Dr. Zsuzsa Deli-Gray, the Director of the Hungarian campus of ESSCA.
"It is an honor that we could launch our series of celebrations to commemorate the 30th anniversary of our school with ambassadors accredited to Hungary," Dr. Zsuzsa Deli-Gray said. "Since our students come from many parts of the world, approximately from forty different countries, I think it is important that the ambassadors of the countries where our students come from also get to know more about our school and the activities related to its education, research and student life."
The host of the event, Péter Kraft stressed that “this year, I am celebrating 50 years of work experience. For me, the most important is to share my professional and life experience with the bright students of ESSCA, so they don't commit the same mistakes I have done, and hopefully benefit from my positive decisions. It is a great pleasure to teach at ESSCA as we have an outstanding community of leaders, professors and students.”
During the daytime continuation of the series of events, focus was placed on a healthy and value-oriented lifestyle with a relaxing yoga session, a professional makeup and product demonstration and an exclusive jewelry exhibition and fashion show.
In addition to guiding students' academic paths toward achieving excellence in pursuit of managerial careers, the triple-crowned school of business education, ESSCA aims to promote considerate and fair methods as its core value. A high proportion of ESSCA students have started their careers where they secured internship positions, and nearly 80% of them have signed employment contracts before they even graduated, which shines a positive light on the job market prospects of young people.
