With an investment of nearly EUR 5.5 million, the Hungarian-owned Aero Space Power is establishing a new production hall in Kisvárda, NE Hungary. The company, engaged in metalworking, turbine and component production, and aerospace structure repair, is also expanding its portfolio with new activities at the site, the Hungarian Investment Promotion Agency reports.

Aero Space Power is a dynamically developing Hungarian enterprise whose main activities include the repair and maintenance of civil aircraft and spacecraft, as well as the production of aerospace metal components. With extensive expertise in the maintenance of aircraft and energy equipment, the company maintains long-term cooperation with GE Vernova and holds a maintenance service agreement with GE Aerospace. In 2019, the company obtained the European Aviation Safety Agency’s Part 145 approval for its repair base, which was complemented in 2021 by the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration’s Part 145 certification. This places Aero Space Power among the exclusive group of only four Hungarian enterprises with such authorizations.

Through its latest investment, Aero Space Power will expand its Kisvárda site with the construction of a new 2,000 m² production hall, while also broadening its portfolio with further activities. In addition to its existing activities in metalworking, turbine and component manufacturing and refurbishment, the company will gain capabilities in thermal spraying, painting, and machining processes thanks to the installation of advanced industrial equipment.

The investment is expected to create a total of 20 new jobs in Kisvárda.
