Another Hungarian Firm on the Renewable Energy Market

A company providing complex renewable energy services was founded by Biggeorge Holding and Energy Independence Kft. under the name 8G Energy Holding Plc., then the joint company bought Solarkraft Home Plc., owned by Energy Independence, which in the future will continue under the name 8G Energy Solutions Plc. operation.

The two founders of Energy Independence, Róbert Fehér and András Tótth, have decades of energy market leadership experience. In 2021, together with the Solarkraft group, they launched Solarkraft Home Plc., of which they became 100% owners this year.

The latter company provides complex energy consulting, planning and construction services for residential, commercial and industrial customers, currently mainly dealing with the installation of solar panels. After the first 18 months of its operation, the company has nearly 1,500 contracted partners, and its annual sales revenue reached HUF 1.4 billion. 8G Energy Plc. has significant plans for 2023 as well, its revenues may reach HUF 10 billion.

8G Energy's goal is to become a key player in the domestic renewable energy market and offer a complex solution to its customers. The company is constantly working on the introduction of innovations and technological developments in the field of energy, energy management and energy information technology.

In the name of the company, 8G stands for the eight green and permanently renewable energy sources, in relation to which the company will be able to provide complex consulting, planning, construction services and invest in related projects, which are the following: solar, wind, geothermal, geothermal, water, hydrogen, biomass and biogas. The company is also looking for additional project and company acquisition opportunities.
