Bácska-Logistik of Baja, S Hungary, has won a grant of almost HUF 300 million for the construction of a new gas station and a self-service restaurant exclusively for trucks.
The company received a grant of HUF 290.5 million from the Széchenyi 2020 program for the investment, which cost a total of HUF 437.8 million, with which the company will purchase new equipment in addition to the gas station and restaurant.
Bácska-Logistik Ltd. was founded in 2010. Its main activities include gravel mining, quarrying and road transport. They also provide other services such as a gravel depot, truck and car wash, truck service and technical test center, and a gas station.
They say that the main objective of the tender was to be able to refuel their own vehicles on their own premises.
The new filling station will consist of a high-capacity automatic rapid filler with extra filling heads, suitable exclusively for trucks, and a system for the distribution of ADBLUE additives, which will be filled from two sides on the underground level. The self-service restaurant will be a cold-hot kitchen offering two- and three-course menus.
According to publicly available company data, Bácska-Logistik Ltd. had net sales of HUF 4.7 billion in 2021, compared to HUF 3.9 billion a year earlier. The company's after-tax profit in 2021 was HUF 311.8 million, while in 2020 the company closed with a profit of HUF 388.3 million.
