The Joint Venture Association held its 2022 Annual General Meeting in Budapest, closing the year 2022, with the election of a new Board, a new Supervisory Board, two new Ethics Committee members and the re-election of several former members.
It was on January 1, 2022 that Tímea Buday Kollárik took over the management of the Association and under the chairmanship of Dr. Ágnes Fábián, the organization closed its most successful year so far. At the meeting, the President and the CEO of the JVSZ also reported on the work carried out with the support of the renewed and enlarged Board in 2022 and on the activities planned for 2023/2024.
"I am very proud to work in such a great professional community and I wish everyone to strengthen the further value-creating activities of the Association with appreciation and joy, as well as with professional and human satisfaction," President of the Joint Venture Association, Dr. Ágnes Fábián said.
"Since October 1, 2022, we have been building the Association with the support of Nikolett Seres as Chief Operating Officer, and with Niki and the team, which will be further expanded this year, we aim to renew and make the organization successful while maintaining its traditions. We thank the Board and the membership for their trust and support," the CEO of the Joint Venture Association Tímea Buday Kollárik pointed out.
In its annual report, the Board highlighted that since last year, the Association has been representing the interests of its member companies through ten professional forums, establishing continuous contacts and bridges with the government. The professional forums are headed by prominent and experienced leaders in the field and are chaired by a 6-8-member board of member companies, with the involvement of a government co-chair. The Economy Brunch business breakfast series, which is popular with companies, is held monthly in conjunction with the activities of the professional forums, with the 6 events held so far being organized around a current economic theme. In addition to sharing knowledge, the events also provide an important networking opportunity. This initiative is complemented by the new Economy Forum, an afternoon workshop-style series of events on more focused and specific topics.
