The British Chamber of Commerce in Hungary (BCCH), which is 30 years old this year, has held its annual general meeting. Duncan Graham was re-elected President of the organization and the Chamber Council was strengthened with several new members, according to a Hungarian language press release by BCCH.
In view of the favorable development of the epidemic situation, it was possible to hold the General Assembly with the participation of the membership in person.
The BCCH General Assembly, held on May 25, re-elected Duncan Graham, Managing Director of G&G Wealth Limited, a financial and investment advisory firm, as President of the Chamber. Duncan Graham founded G&G Wealth Limited in 2012, prior to which he worked as a senior adviser at Newton Barr Financial Advisory and Alliance in the UK. Duncan Graham is the Chairman of St Andrew's Association in Hungary, which, while promoting Scottish culture, is also involved in charitable work, primarily helping disadvantaged and sick children. Duncan Graham has been President of BCCH since June 2019.
As the re-elected President said, “this is symbolic for us too, and I hope that we will be able to meet again in person more often in the future. Thank you to our members for persevering through the difficult times behind us, and with the improvement of the epidemic situation, we can look forward not only to new Council members, but also to new strength and new momentum in the tasks ahead."
In his report, Duncan Graham confirmed that the Chamber had managed to end last year with a positive result despite the epidemic situation, and that the additional resources available would allow the Chamber to invest in its activities. The re-elected President of the Chamber is confident that the 30th anniversary of the organization will be celebrated this year with an exciting event and the personal presence of as many members as possible.
