The stock index of the Budapest Stock Exchange (BSE) rose in increasing turnover during the four-day trading week; the BUX index closed at 44,042.12 points on Friday, 330.28 points, or 0.76% higher than the previous week’s closing value.
The stock market turnover was HUF 58.04 billion after last week's HUF 48.03 billion, with the leading stocks performing mixed this week. In the weekly summary by Equilor Investment Plc, it was highlighted that the short week was characterized by fluctuations in the BUX index.
During the week, Richter strengthened by 4.14%, closing at HUF 8,810 on Friday, with a monthly turnover in excess of HUF 12 billion.
Magyar Telekom's share price decreased by 0.98% during the week, its closing price on Friday was HUF 406, and its weekly turnover was HUF 992.9 million.
Mol closed at HUF 2,160 on Friday, its share value decreased by 2.7% during the week, and its weekly turnover reached HUF 12.5 billion.
OTP's share price increased by 1.27 percent during the week, closed at HUF 13,580 on Friday, and had a weekly turnover of HUF 30.2 billion.
