Hell Energy's HUF 80 billion capacity expansion investment in Szikszó, NE Hungary, has been inaugurated, creating 240 new jobs and strengthening the soft drink company's leading position in several countries around the world, according to a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
At the handover ceremony of the HUF 80 billion joint investment by Hell Energy Hungary Ltd. and Quality Pack, it was said that the complex capacity expansion at the soft drink plant will enable the production of around four billion cans and six billion filled finished products per year.
The project will create 240 new jobs and the investment will strengthen the company's market leadership not only in Hungary, but also in Romania, Bulgaria, Greece, Cyprus and Croatia, and will further expand its export market, which already covers more than sixty countries, the statement said.
In the past ten years, 72 major food investments worth HUF 900 billion have been carried out in Hungary with government support, including Hell's investments.
