The President of the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Hungary (CCiU), Francesco Maria Mari passed away in Rome this Tuesday morning, the Chamber has announced.
The announcement, signed by CCiU Vice President Ferdinando Martignago and CCiU Secretary General Stefania Speziani, says that "it is with much regret and sadness that we communicate to all of you that this morning, our beloved President, Francesco Maria Mari passed away in Rome. The Board of Directors, the Board of Auditors, the Secretary General, together with the whole team of the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Hungary, share with deep compassion the immeasurable pain of the family and express their sincere condolences to them."
Born in 1955, Francesco Maria Mari graduated in Law and had a Master in Business Administration from the Bocconi University. He had over 20 years of experience in management which led him to occupying important positions at Italian and international firms such as ‘Saatchi & Saatchi’, ‘RAS Allianz’, ‘Banca Popolare Commercio & Industria’ and ‘Gruppo Mediobanca’. Furthermore, he had more than 15 years of experience in business activities where he specialized in corporate start-ups in the sectors of services, web and telecommunications.
