Building on successful projects in France, Continest’s Rental division has reached another milestone: the company has launched its first representative office in France, the company says in a press release.
By leveraging the logistical and cost advantages of a local presence, this partnership makes Continest’s innovative solutions available on even more favorable terms to organizers of environmentally conscious, modern events and sporting events in the French market, according to the statement.
Following the successful delivery of the Milano-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics, Continest Technologies Plc.’s Rental division has further strengthened its international presence and completed several landmark projects that are poised to play a pivotal role in the company’s long-term growth in Europe. The experience of Continest’s units, now present in nearly 30 countries, clearly shows that the market is increasingly seeking complex, turnkey infrastructure solutions and long-term partnerships that go beyond traditional container leasing.
One of the most important outcomes of this strategic approach is the establishment of Continest’s first representative office in France, which takes the local presence of the innovative, foldable Continest container units to a new level and significantly shortens the turnaround time for projects in France. Both the traditional office-style multifunctional and modular cabins, as well as the Retail-style units specifically developed for event merchandising, are now available in France.
Christophe Rousseau, a recognized expert in the international sports and events industry, played a key role in establishing this partnership. Previously the head of Legends Global, he has worked with Continest in the past and now manages Continest’s French partner network through his own company, Troisième Ligne.
“Launching our French office is the natural next step in a relationship that has been building for several years. Continest’s first major breakthrough in France came with the 2023 Rugby World Cup, followed by the 2024 Paris Olympics, where, on behalf of the Arena Group, we supported the organization of one of the world’s largest sporting events with 52 CN20 Retail containers. “Our professional relationship with Christophe Rousseau, the former head of Legends Global, developed during the Olympic project. We are not thinking in terms of one-off projects, but rather a long-term local presence and partnerships that will enable us to serve our clients in France more quickly, flexibly, and with a higher standard of service,” – said Tamás Turza, Head of Business Development at Continest Technologies Plc.
The representative office proved its value within its first few months of operation. The first containers from the fleet appeared at the Paris leg of one of the world’s most famous sporting events, the Tour de France, while four additional CN20 Retail units served the summer events at Lyon Stadium. Continest’s presence in France is further strengthened by a strategic partnership with SOFEMA, a company operating in the defense industry, thanks to which a total of 13 foldable containers are now available in France.
“Event organizers today are looking not only for fast and reliable infrastructure, but also for partners who support their sustainability goals. Continest’s innovative solutions, combined with its local presence, provide a competitive advantage for which there is growing demand in France. Troisième Ligne’s goal is to help its clients run events more efficiently and effectively and increase B2C revenue, so expanding our portfolio with Continest’s modular, innovative solutions was a natural choice,” emphasized Christophe Rousseau.
The establishment of the new French office aligns well with Continest’s long-term strategy, which focuses on international growth, building local partner networks, and providing high-value-added, complex services. “By establishing a presence in France, we have moved closer to our customers and built a local infrastructure that will support our Western European growth strategy in the long term,” noted Vidor Kis-Márton, CEO of Continest Technologies Plc.
