The Chinese company Jiecang Linear Motion Technology Co. Ltd., a leading provider of linear actuator products and solutions is to set up its largest European production site in Kaposvár, S Hungary. The plant is to start operations by the end of next year and it will also be the Chinese company's European logistics center, the company's management announced on Monday.
The plant is planned to be built in the Northern Industrial Park at a cost of more than EUR 60 million (about HUF 23 billion) and will start operations by the end of next year, while it will also be the Chinese company's European logistics center.
Sun Honguang, the project manager for the Hungarian project, said the investment will be carried out in two phases. Annual sales of EUR 80 million are planned, creating more than 200 jobs, he added.
The project leader said the investment company was founded in 2000 and has been a listed company since 2018. Its main profile is the development, production and sale of products for linear motion. The company's products provide linear motion for smart office and healthcare equipment, housing, industrial automation. According to its information, Jiecang Linear Motion achieved a turnover of EUR 450 million last year.
