Ganz Transformers and Electric Rotating Machines has wound up a close to HUF 5 billion development project at its base in Tápiószele (E Hungary), the company said on Friday.
As MTI reports, Ganz Electric upgraded its production equipment and expanded its capacity to deliver bespoke engineering solutions, paving the way for a bigger order book.
They emphasized that, as a result of the investment, Ganz Electric now operates with shorter and more predictable lead times and has implemented transparent process management while maintaining higher quality standards.
Thanks to the modernized manufacturing processes, full traceability has been achieved. As a result, the Rotating Machinery Plant operates with greater flexibility and, thanks to its expanded capacity and heavy-duty infrastructure, is now able to take on new orders.
They also noted that in recent years, Ganz Electric has significantly increased the division’s revenue in both the domestic and European markets in the field of motor and generator manufacturing. The heavy machinery produced at the Tápiószele plant is used in most European countries and in the Middle East, including in the cement industry, mining, water management, the nuclear energy sector, the steel industry, and the renewable energy industry.
