The Hungarian pharmaceutical firm Gedeon Richter Plc. has announced an important change in the executive management of company on the website of the Budapest Stock Exchange.
“The company hereby informs its honorable shareholders that with effect from November 15, 2022 Mr. Erik Bogsch resigns from his position regarding the direct supervision of Commercial, International and Government Relations, and in the future he will assist the Company’s operations as advisor,” the statement said.
Erik Bogsch continues to be member of the Board of Directors of Gedeon Richter Plc. and will simultaneously serve as Chairman in the body of the Board of Directors, in the capacity of which he takes a relevant role in the strategic management of the Company, the announcement added.
The 75-year-old Széchenyi Prize-winning Hungarian chemical engineer, chartered engineer-economist, was the CEO of Richter Gedeon Plc. for 25 years between 1992 and 2017.
The direct supervision of Commercial, International and Government Relations in the future will be carried out by Chief Executive Officer Gábor Orbán.
