HungaroControl Co. Ltd. has received the Transport Company of the Year award from the 170-year-old Budapest Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BKIK) in recognition of the Company's outstanding activities in the field of aviation.
BKIK presented the award to the Hungarian air traffic service in recognition of the company's exemplary activities in the framework of an unusual online festive program. Elek Nagy, President of the Chamber, highlighted that “HungaroControl Co. Ltd., as an outstandingly successful, nationally owned company, is a committed supporter of environmentally conscious operation as a significant player in the Hungarian transport sector. In addition to its dominant economic and industrial role, it also contributes to value creation and the preservation of social and natural values through its social responsibility activities. In recognition of all this, we decided to award HungaroControl the title of Transport Company of the Year in 2020.”
According to HungaroControl CEO Kornél Szepessy, “it is a great honor to recognize the work of all our colleagues. They are the ones who, to the best of their knowledge, guarantee flight safety, and with their innovative approach, they are also working to develop tomorrow's aviation and strengthen environmental awareness.”
