The third stage of Hungaropharma's Budapest Logistics Center is not only suitable for the logistics of its own stocks and those of its pharmaceutical partners, but also provides the opportunity to store community stocks in the framework of possible crisis cooperation, the company told MTI.
With the new complex, which includes refrigerated warehouses with a capacity of 20,000 pallets, the company's warehouse capacity has now increased to 18,500 square meters. Including the improvements made in the previous phase, the investment was worth HUF 11 billion, the statement said. Pallet handling in the "oxygen-poor" warehouse is fully automated.
Hungarian-owned Hungaropharma is Hungary's leading pharmaceutical wholesaler, with a market share of around 40% and is among Hungary's 30 largest companies in terms of net sales. It sells 153 million boxes of medicines a year, has 12,000 orders a day, distributes over 18,500 products and has 600 manufacturing and supplier partners, the press conference was told.
