Chinese audience will learn about the innovative side of Hungary at the second China International Import Expo (CIIE), said Balázs Hendrich, CEO of the Hungarian Export Development Agency (HEPA) in Shanghai at the opening of the Hungarian Country Pavilion, the Hungarian news agency MTI reports.
In addition to the tourist attractions, investment environment and trading opportunities, the 136-square-meter Hungarian Country Pavilion presents the Hungarian innovation sports equipment 'Teqball', which is played on a curved table. In addition to the pavilion, the spectacular performances of the 4forDance and Fricska dance groups provide an insight into Hungarian cultural traditions.
Last year, Hungary was the guest of honor at the expo last year and this year, it has been given a special place again this year: besides the country pavilion, it can also be present in a 108-square-meter agricultural pavilion where Hungarian companies can showcase their products. There, visitors can taste, among other things, cheese, wine and goose liver.
According to organizers, this year, the exhibition is attended by nearly 3,000 companies from about 150 countries and regions, and the clover-shaped complex, the location of the expo, has been expanded to provide floor space of nearly 300,000 square meters.
