Italian air handling solutions specialist Weger launches an investment in Hungary to expand production capacity, the Hungarian Investment Promotion Agency (HIPA) reports.
The EUR 24.6 million project aims at the construction of a 10,000 square-meter production hall in Jászárokszállás (Central Hungary), equipped with advanced machinery, as well as automated and digitalized manufacturing solutions to improve efficiency. The investment also includes the installation of a solar power system and energy storage.
Supported by the HIPA Hungarian Investment Promotion Agency, the project will enhance the company’s production of components for heat pumps and air handling systems.
The investment will also reinforce Weger’s long-term commitment to Hungary and contributes to maintaining stable employment in Jászárokszállás and the surrounding region. The company has been present in the town since 2006, cooperating with several Hungarian suppliers.
