Magyar Telekom, the leading Hungarian telecommunications service provider has announced that the Board of Directors of the Company decided to request the cancellation of admission to trading of its American Depositary Shares (ADSs) on the London Stock Exchange’s International Order Book (IOBU market segment) with effect from December 30, 2021.

The company has notified the London Stock Exchange of its intention. The main reason for the cancellation is the very low liquidity and trading volume of the ADSs in recent years.

The cancellation does not affect the Company’s American Depositary Receipt program on a Level I basis, which remains unchanged, Magyar Telekom has said in a statement published on the website of the Budapest Stock Exchange.
