Magyar Vagon Trains for Slovenian Railway Company

Hungary's Magyar Vagon will manufacture railway trains for the Slovenian state railway company, Magyar Vagon told MTI after a contract was signed on Monday in the Slovenian capital, Ljubljana.

Magyar Vagon will deliver five intercity trains, each consisting of four cars. The trains could be put into use in the second half of 2028.

Magyar Vagon is providing a two-year warranty and will ensure a 95% availability during the entire warranty period for spare parts based on an EU public procurement tender.

The Hungarian company had over HUF 46 billion revenue in 2024.
