Marzek Kner Packaging Expansion in SE Hungary

Austrian-owned Marzek Kner Packaging inaugurated an expansion at its base in Békéscsaba (SE Hungary) on Friday.

The company completed expansions worth HUF 5.5 billion in recent years, securing 480 jobs, with government support of HUF 1.5 billion.

More than half of Marzek Kner Packaging products are sold on export markets, and production at the site is carried out with full consideration for sustainability aspects.

Austrian companies employ around 75,000 workers in Hungary, and 68 major Austrian investments received government support in the past decade.
