Through significant investments, the Hungarian-owned poultry company strengthens its market position, the Hungarian Investment Promotion Agency (HIPA) reports.

The Bárány family has been involved in poultry farming for over 100 years, spanning four generations, making it Hungary's oldest poultry farming dynasty. Master Good Ltd., fully Hungarian-owned, was founded over 30 years ago with five employees. Today, the company operates across all areas of the industry, handling a significant portion of domestic poultry processing.

As part of its long-term export strategy, Master Good is undertaking a EUR 150 million capacity-expansion investment at its Kisvárda plant, creating 600 new jobs and significantly contributing to the region's economic growth. The goal of this development is to double production capacity and strengthen export capabilities. By implementing automated processing technologies, Master Good continues to enhance its market-leading position and contribute to the international competitiveness of Hungarian food production. As an industry leader, Master Good is committed to sustainability, applying the most advanced technologies to reduce its ecological footprint while ensuring the delivery of high-quality food products.

To further these efforts, the company is installing solar and waste heat recovery systems in Kisvárda and Petneháza. The EUR 31.66 million investment, carried out under the Factory Rescue Program, will lower operational costs while increasing energy savings. Through strategic infrastructure developments, Master Good is not only adapting to market changes but also ensuring long-term growth.

The company group is committed to reducing food waste and actively supports recycling efforts. Its social responsibility is exemplary, supporting culture, the University of Debrecen, the University of Nyíregyháza, as well as the Kisvárda handball and football teams.
