MetMax Europe Plc., a metalworking company, has founded a new site in Töltéstava, NW Hungary. With a total investment of EUR 14.5 million retaining 132 jobs and creating 50 new ones, production equipment was purchased for the new plant and storage facilities of nearly 10,000 square meters. Anout one third of the investment costs are covered by Hungarian taxpayers according to a government decision.
MetMax Europe with several decades of professional experience produces more than 4,000 different types of components. The company's main profile is the production of high-precision, complex machined components, primarily produced in small and medium batches. The quality assurance of high-precision manufacturing is supported by complex measurement technology and a material laboratory.
The areas in which their moulds and stainless steel, aluminium, copper, bronze and plastic components are used cover several industries, ranging from railways to robotics. Accordingly, the international customers of the Hungarian-owned MetMax include, inter alia, Knorr-Bremse, Grundfos, the Atlas Copco Group and DMG Mori as well, the Hungarian Investment Promotion Agency reports.
