The Hungarian automotive company Autóflex-Knott Ltd. has completed an HUF 800 million development to increase its market share in the US and Europe. Hungarian taxpayers, thanks to a government decision, have provided HUF 400 million for the purchase of machinery to machine higher-performance parts.
A solar panel system was also recently installed on site, enabling greener, more responsible energy use.
Autóflex-Knott Ltd. was founded in 1994 with the involvement of the German company Knott. Since then, it has grown to become the second largest trailer parts manufacturer in Europe.
The company currently operates on a production area of 34,000 square meters in the Kadafalva-Heliport industrial park in Kecskemét, Eastern Hungary. The site employs 400-500 people. An important objective is to remain a family-owned, people-oriented organization, also as a multinational company.
