As of January 1, 2025, Balázs Károly occupies the position of Commercial and Customer Service Director of Provident Financial Ltd., the company has announced.
According to the statement, he comes to the role with outstanding professional experience and in-depth market knowledge. He has worked for more than a decade at Provident's Hungarian, Bulgarian and Romanian subsidiaries, where he held a number of management positions.
He started his career at Provident as a sales team leader in the Pécs region, before taking on roles as business development manager and regional sales manager. In Bulgaria, he was Head of Sales Area and in Romania he was responsible for the operation of the regional network.
Balázs Károly participated in Provident's Aspire talent development program, which has strengthened his leadership skills and contributed to his success within the company. In recent years, he has worked in sales for multinational companies such as TMX Mobile Solution, Huawei and Hilti, where he further expanded his professional experience and market knowledge before returning to Provident to face new challenges and leverage his international experience. The CEO of Provident Financial Ltd., Viktor Boczán stated that "Balázs Károly will be leading a key area in the future, aided by his market knowledge, experience and commitment to large international companies. His professional knowledge and leadership skills will further ensure Provident's future success."
