The drip and irrigation pipe production plant of Green Technológia Ltd. was inaugurated on Friday in Lébény, north-west Hungary.
It was emphasized at the ceremony that every single plastic product and utensil used in agriculture that is delivered to Green Technológia Ltd. is no longer waste, but a raw material for recycling and can be reused. Plastic tools that are no longer used are no longer harmful to the environment.
The development of a collection network for the collection of agricultural foils is receiving government support. The next objective is to install agglomeration machines next to the collection points in the network. This way, the finished agglomerate will only have to be transported to the product processing sites, which would also contribute to a sustainable future due to less emissions.
The drip and irrigation pipe production plant, installed with a self-financing of HUF 250 million, can produce a fifty-kilometer product in 24 hours.
The equipment can produce drip tubes with diameters of 16 and 20 millimeters and main spines with a diameter of 25 millimeters.
In spring 2021, in Lébény, dry agglomeration was launched and was awarded the eco-label. At the same time, a network of 100 collection points was set up across the country to collect agricultural foils and other plastic products that are no longer used.
