The building construction general contractor Belotti Ltd. has built a factory hall and installed a new production line for the serial production of innovative products, mainly for the production of industrial floors in Szekszárd, south-central Hungary, the company told MTI.
The HUF 320 million investment was implemented with 50% support from the Economic Development and Innovation Operational Program of the European Union, the company said in a statement.
As part of the development, a 1,257-square-meter hall was built, and among other things, sheet cutting and edge bending machines, welding tables, welding machines and polishing booths were purchased.
On the production line, a threshold element for industrial doors developed by the company is produced, which significantly reduces heat loss in the substrate. The 3-meter-long threshold element will be able to produce ten pieces per day in two shifts, they added.
Founded in 1994, the company, which has 38 employees, achieved a net turnover of HUF 1.4 billion and a profit after tax of HUF 153 million in 2023. Net sales in 2024 were HUF 1 billion 20 million, they said.
The new product is expected to generate at least 20% revenue growth in the first year, which is expected to increase year on year.
