New Head of Communications at MOL

Media specialist Piroska Bakos is the new Head of Communications at the Hungarian oil and gas giant MOL Co. Ltd.

She holdsthe position of the Group's communications manager in Hungary as of April 15. Piroska Bakos leads MOL Hungary's team responsible for Hungary's external and internal communications, as well as acting as spokesperson, under the direction of Domokos Szollár, the Communications Director of MOL Group.

Piroska Bakos graduated from the University of Pécs with a degree in humanities. She studied in Germany as a scholarship holder. For 13 years, she was the news presenter and foreign policy editor of Hungarian Television. On behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, she acted as a spokesperson for the Hungarian Presidency of the European Union in 2011.

In recent years, she has been a Hungarian correspondent for the German public service channel MDR (Mitteldeutscher Rundfunk), and has worked as a communication trainer and moderator of economic, diplomatic and public events.
