Agnieszka Bobrukiewicz has become a member of the Board of Directors of the ORLEN Unipetrol Group, the largest refining and petrochemical company in the Czech Republic. In her new role, effective September 1, 2024, she will focus primarily on the management of the Group's retail segment and marketing activities within the Czech, Slovak and Hungarian markets.
According to a statement by the Group, Agnieszka Bobrukiewicz is well-acquainted with the Czech market and the ORLEN Unipetrol Group due to her eight years of experience working within the Group.
“As I have extensive international experience in the segment of retail sales of fuel and fast-moving consumer goods, I will lead and support the Czech, Slovak and Hungarian retail markets in order to maximize their potential and make them growth further especially in terms of sales volumes, margins and market share,” Agnieszka Bobrukiewicz said. She added that “we will finalize the process of unifying the strong international ORLEN brand in the Czech Republic and then focus on all three markets to improve the sharing of best practices and further enhance quality and innovation. We will also work on the development of new energy offers as part of building the e-mobility segment.”
Agnieszka Bobrukiewicz has nearly 20 years of international retail experience, mainly in the fuel sales and supplementary products and the FMCG business. She has led many innovative projects that have positively impacted sales results and margins. From 2012 to 2019, she served as a project manager and later as a marketing director of the Benzina network filling stations in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, where she managed the implementation of the new marketing strategies and communication of several brands.
In the years 2019-2022, she worked as a marketing director at Unimot, a company operating the international network of Avia filling stations in Poland and Ukraine, where she was responsible for implementing a new gastro and shop concept and a marketing strategy for the sale of fuel and supplementary products for private brands. She has been a sales and a marketing director and a member of the Board of Directors at Costa Coffee in Poland and Latvia since 2022 while also supporting other countries like the Czech Republic, Austria and Belgium. She graduated from the Bialystok School of Economics.
