Trans-Sped logistics company's new 5,100-square-meter warehouse complex is part of an agreement with the state that will see Trans-Sped set up six new logistics centers between 2017 and 2023, three in Debrecen, one each in Nagytarcsa, Környe and Tata.
The total investment value is close to HUF 8 billion, creating 270 new jobs. The government is providing HUF 2.4 billion in non-repayable aid for the development.
Trans-Sped, a family business based in Debrecen, was founded 33 years ago, employs 900 people and last year had a turnover of nearly HUF 33 billion.
The logistics sector employs around 300,000 people in Hungary and last year, transported 300 million tons of goods. The sector's production value increased by 50% in 2022, to more than HUF 5,500 billion.
Zsolt Fülöp, founding owner of the Trans-Sped Group, said one of the sources of success is the partnership with the companies using the transport services and the provision of a modern logistics background. He added that the company has successfully managed a generational change, with both of his sons taking over the management of the company.
The company manager announced that in cooperation with Logicon Invest Hungary Kft. they will also introduce a unique roll and crate cleaning service to the market.
