HelloParks has handed over four new buildings covering 174,000 square meters this year, leasing more than 150,000 square meters of warehouse space in its warehouses in 2023, the industrial property developer, which is part of the Futureal Group, told MTI.
Among the new buildings that have been handed over, MG3 is located in Maglód, FT6 and FT2 in Fót and PT1 in Páty.
Among the partners signed this year is the German chain dm, which took over its 18,000 sqm warehouse in HelloParks Páty PT1 in November. DHL Supply Chain will also move into PT1, starting operations in 20,000 square metres from January 2024. And Aeroplex Central Europe Ltd. will lease almost 8,000 square meters of warehouse and office space in HelloParks Maglód, in hall MG3 from spring 2024.
They added that other companies are still in the construction phase: Gebrüder Weiss will take over 22,000 square meters of space in HelloParks Páty PT2 in the summer of 2024, while Transdanubia will lease 24,000 square meters of warehouse and office space in warehouse PT3 from the fourth quarter of next year.
The industrial real estate developer started construction this year on a 14-hectare site in Alsónémedi, near the junction of the M0 and M5 motorways and the BILK container terminal, where it is working on a 60,000 sqm warehouse hall, which is expected to be handed over in the fourth quarter of 2024. With the investment started on the new site and the development of the PT2 and PT3 halls in Paty, HelloParks expects to hand over 144,000 square meters of new industrial space next year.
The statement quoted István Pozderka, business development director and co-founding partner of HelloParks, as saying that they started three years ago, handed over their first building two years ago, and by now, they have leased 250,000 square meters of warehouse space and are on track to reach half a million square meters of finished building in a year and a half.
They emphasized that HelloParks is thinking exclusively in terms of green industrial real estate and pays great attention to energy efficient operations. This is supported, among other things, by the company's proprietary mobile app, which allows remote access to technical data on the leased space, monitoring of utility consumption and adjustment of heating, ventilation and lighting settings.
HelloParks is an innovative industrial real estate development and investment company offering a full range of solutions from site development to building construction and facility maintenance. Since its launch, HelloParks has been present in four locations, Maglód, Fót, Páty and Alsónémedi, where it has developed more than one million square meters of warehouse and industrial space on a total of 244 hectares. The total development value of completed and ongoing projects is close to EUR 455 million. HelloParks is part of the Futureal Group, one of the leading real estate development and investment groups in the Central and Eastern European region, and one of the ten largest real estate developers in Europe.
