In the fourth quarter of 2024, RÁBA Automotive Holding Plc., based in Győr, NW Hungary, took major steps to adjust to the challenges of the global automotive industry, the company announced this Tuesday.
The report says the Rába Modernization Program continues to be in the focus of attention through numerous technological developments key to increasing production efficiency and further strengthening the market positions of the company. Rába’s goal is to meet the highest quality requirements at all times through state-of-the-art machinery and optimized pro-duction processes, while offering sustainable operation in the long term.
Through ongoing technological developments, Rába focuses on sustainable operation and on developing future-proof production processes. The company is committed to meeting even the most stringent quality expectations through its advanced machinery and optimized production processes. A number of key equipment developments have also taken place as part of the latest capital expenditures, thus increasing production capacity and innovation potential. The replacement of the light sources in production halls by LED light has also been concluded, further increasing the energy efficiency of the company. A new machining center is now being installed and will begin production in the near future. Additionally, a washing line is being installed, providing preparation for other parts.
In Q1-Q4 of 2024, the Rába group achieved a group-level EBITDA margin of 8.6%, through a 3.3 percentage point improvement. EBITDA-level profit generated exceeded HUF 4.9 billion, providing the funds needed for additional developments. Gross margin on sales revenue also im-proved compared to the base period. Additionally, the balance of other revenues and expenditures reached HUF 1,483 million in 2024.
Shareholders’ equity during the review period was 0.2% below the level of the previous year. The value of equity per share was HUF 1,784 per share.
