RE project development ltd launched a campaign for the safety of people working in office buildings with the title ‘REvive’. The aim of the initiative is to provide defibrillator for the staff and employees of tenants in the office buildings and to give life-saving skills and practical experience as well.
Pál Gyõrfi, spokesman of the National Ambulance Service made a presentation first for the companies and their employees working REsidence office buildings. Gyõrfi supports the initiative of RE project development. "About 70 people die each day due to sudden cardiac arrest in Hungary. Moreover, the tragedy often happens with young, healthy looking people, usually in the workplace.” He added that employees were enthusiastic in learning and they acquired the methods of resuscitation and life-saving as well as the use of defibrillator. With the help of the device for rapid assistance in case of sudden cardiac arrest the resuscitation is simple, even before the arrival of the ambulance. The device analyzes the heart rhythm through electrode pairs placed on the patient’s chest, detects ventricular fibrillation, and gives shock with the press of the shock button. The built-in security system excludes giving an accidental and unreasonable shock. A defibrillator will be placed in Rumbach Center office building.
