SAP Working with ELTE for Corporate Digitalization

SAP Hungary and the Faculty of Informatics of the Budapest university ELTE signed a cooperation agreement to develop modern business technology platforms that combine university and corporate knowledge and can be configured to meet specific needs. 

SAP is one of the world's leading companies in business applications, data management, and artificial intelligence-based solutions, combining more than 50 years of experience and best international practices to drive continuous innovation.

The key focus areas of the newly signed cooperation include data-driven decision-making, data analytics, data warehouses, LLM-based analysis, machine learning, natural language processing, cloud-based services, RAP-based development, dynamic system configuration, distributed system optimization, the application of in-memory databases, and the improvement of user experience.

The parties share the conviction that the cooperation will bring social benefits far beyond its business and economic implications: it will promote the digital transition, support the strengthening of domestic intellectual capital, and create new opportunities for the young generation of IT professionals.

Thanks to the knowledge capital it has built up over the years, the Department of Data Science and Data Technology at ELTE's Faculty of Informatics is confidently facing these challenges," Dr. Tamás Kozsik, Dean of ELTE's Faculty of Informatics said.

ELTE is a member of the SAP University Alliances program, which supports higher education institutions worldwide in equipping their students with knowledge of the latest enterprise technologies and practical SAP skills. As part of the program, universities get access to SAP software for educational purposes, the latest official SAP training courses, and professional support, so the company is helping to train the digital professionals of the future.
