SMP Solutions' smart office project worth more than HUF 485 million has been completed, the company has announced in a press release.
The company received a non-refundable grant of HUF 297 million from the National Research, Development and Innovation Office (NRDI Office) for the development. The project includes mobile navigation for orientation, a guest reception and parking support application, meeting room and asset management, a solution supporting facility management and reporting functions. Smart office services can improve building occupancy, reduce emissions and support home working, they said.
SMP Solutions works on solutions for IT, banking and security challenges, the press release said. Their funding was announced in December 2020 by the NRDI Agency in the results announcement of the market-driven research, development and innovation calls. According to a report published on the company's website, the project was scheduled for completion at the end of August.
The latest report by SMP Solutions highlights that the Budapest-based company had a turnover of more than HUF 35 billion in 2020 and more than HUF 58 billion in 2021. Their foreign sales were significant, around HUF 10 billion in both years, while their profits increased from HUF 3 billion to HUF 4.35 billion.
