Steel structure manufacturer Vilex '94 Ltd. has invested almost HUF 300 million in improving its technology, the company told MTI.
The company received HUF 209 million in conditionally non-refundable support from the Széchenyi Plan Plus program for the development, which cost HUF 298.9 million. As the main part of the project, a separate 1,510-square-meter locksmith's workshop and warehouse were built and equipped with renewable energy generation.
Furthermore, the company purchased a heavy-duty edge bending machine capable of working over a length of four meters.
The company, based in Berettyóújfalu, was founded in 1994 and is now one of the fastest growing companies in the eastern region of the country.
Its main activities include the manufacture of steel structures for electrical engineering companies, the construction of steel-framed halls and buildings, and the renovation and repair of agricultural and construction machinery and machine parts. Vilex '94 Ltd. processes almost 1,500 tons of steel per year and employs 47 people.
The announcement said that the tender will enable the company to use the most advanced technologies to sell its products and services in a stable way in a highly competitive international and domestic market.
According to publicly available company data, Vilex '94 Ltd. had a net turnover of HUF 1.1 billion in 2021, compared to HUF 1 billion a year earlier. The company's after-tax profit in 2021 was HUF 88.2 million, compared to a profit of HUF 20.3 million in 2020, MTI reports.
