The more successful Hungarian companies are abroad – anywhere in the world, but primarily in the Carpathian Basin – the stronger the Hungarian economy will be, Levente Magyar, Parliamentary State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, said on Thursday in the Transylvanian village of Comuna Moldovenești (in Hungarian: Várfalva), at the inauguration ceremony of the production unit of KÉSZ Romania, the local subsidiary of the Hungarian construction company KÉSZ Group.
The plant, which was inaugurated in the village of Bădeni (in Hungarian: Bágyon) in the municipality of Comuna Moldovenești, is the first production unit in Romania of the KÉSZ Group, which has been present on the Romanian market for more than 20 years.
According to the State Secretary, the whole nation can be proud of the KÉSZ Group, a Hungarian construction company that has achieved great success abroad, even under the toughest market conditions. The inauguration of the new production hall is an important milestone of this international presence, he said, adding that the company is successful in Romania, despite the fierce competition in the construction industry.
He was of the view that "this production hall is a symbol of the Hungarian government's efforts to strengthen the presence of Hungarian companies in the Carpathian Basin, beyond Hungary's borders." The Hungarian government, he said, in addition to providing substantial support to businesses abroad, is also helping domestic companies to invest abroad. In Romania, such projects are worth a total of HUF 130 billion, he said.
