Deloitte Central Europe's Technology Fast 50 2023 program, which rewards the most dynamic technology companies, received more than 400 applications from 16 Central European countries – as part of the program, five Hungarian companies were included in the list of companies ranking emerging young companies and those with outstanding social impact, the audit and tax consultancy firm told MTI on Friday.
According to the statement, the growth rate of the companies that applied decreased compared to the last two years, with the average growth rate of 1,502% achieved by this year's Fast 50 companies still well ahead of the 1,460% measured in the 2020 edition. The growth rate is based on the revenues generated by companies between 2019 and 2022, and spans a period marked by a global pandemic and significant geopolitical tensions.
The Companies to Watch category recognizes the achievements of companies that are too young to be included in the Fast 50 but are already growing rapidly. Two companies from Hungary made the list: digital product innovation studio Digital Thinkers was ranked sixth, while Hungarian-founded marketplace Pepita Group was ranked sixteenth.
The other list of three companies from Hungary is the Impact Stars category, introduced in 2020, which recognizes companies that, in addition to offering excellent products or services, have a positive impact on society, business, innovation, the environment or diversity. This year's Hungarian award winners are DokiApp, mobile solutions provider Parkl Digital Technologies and SnapSoft. DokiApp is a digital health platform currently offering 12 telemedicine features, while SnapSoft provides cloud-based software solutions to its customers, they said.
