A new factory was opened by the automotive component and raw material supplier thyssenkrupp Component Technology on Friday in Jászfényszaru, E Hungary. The unit produces overhead camshafts and electro-mechanical power steering (developed in the company's competence center in Budapest) for the international auto industry.
Karsten Kroos, CEO of Component Technology at thyssenkrupp, emphasized at the inauguration of the factory, that Hungary has become an important player in the European automotive industry in recent years, with about 480,000 cars produced here last year.
