Singapore-based Vulcan Shield Global (VSG), which supplies high-temperature insulation solutions to a range of industries, has started recruiting locals to work at its plant in Bekescsaba (SE Hungary), the company told MTI.
VSG aims to fill positions at the plant with as many Hungarians as possible, the company said.
"All interviews conducted till now have been only of Hungarian candidates. Chinese nationality or knowledge of Chinese language is not a requirement for any of the positions," it added.
VSG announced in September that it would build the EUR 700m plant in Bekescsaba, in three phases. Annual capacity is expected to reach 10,000 tonnes by 2033.
The investment promises to create 2,500 jobs.
